Creative and Custom Jewelry

About The Designer

I like to create things.  It was batik and macramé jewelry in the 70s, handpainted children’s clothing in the 80s, and making paper with my three daughters in the 90s.   Since 2007, I have worked to perfect my skills in designing and creating jewelry.  My pieces are as eclectic as my history is.  I love working with natural stones, silver, and copper, but you will also see a lot of glass because I love color.

Composition and high quality construction are highly respected by me and the materials I use speak to those values.  Most of my pieces are not dainty and most can be described as earthy (although my use of huge quartz stones would challenge the use of that term)!  I make wearable art that is eye catching in its size, color, and uniqueness.  Wearing my pieces is fun.

When stringing material is used, it is a high end 49-strand cord which is less prone to kinking (still, don’t leave bunched in the bottom of your purse!).   The silver I use is sterling silver or fine silver  which will be noted.  The gold I use is karated gold filled which is of much higher quality than gold plate and keeps my jewelry affordable.  Most of my jewelry is one of a kind

If you live in Minnesota, please note that I have a great pre-holiday sale in November with lower prices.  Contact me to get on the email list for the dates.  If you don’t live in Minnesota, feel free to to ask for photos and sale prices!
